Father I thank you for sparing me and allowing me to see another day.  I thank you for your hand of protection that covers and keeps me.  I thank you for your unfailing love and for calling me your own.
Lord there have been tornado's, earthquakes and even talks of a hurricane but, I take comfort in knowing you.
You are a father who never fails his children and because of who you are I no I have nothing to fear.  You have created and builded it it all.  You are able to tare down and build up again.  I know that  no destruction can hard me or come my way unless it be your will.  Father I take comfort in knowing my life is in your hands and trust you to do with it as you see fit.  I thank you in advance for the great love you have for me, a love that flows from me and reaches all that I love, care for, and beyond.

I stand on your word and put all my trust in you. I know that your word is the only word that can not and will not return void.  I thank and praise you father.  I praise you for who you are and ask that your spirit and love forever take root and rest in me.  In Jesus name I pray amen.

Lord let the words of my mouth and medication of my heart be acceptable in your sight. 
You Father are my strength and my redeemer.  You God are the one I can depend and rely on.  You father  are a very present help in times of trouble. You father are the love and strength of my life and I thank you for all the ways in which you continue to work in the lives of your children.  Father let our hearts, minds and, soul stay open to you. 

Let us never forget from whom our help and strength come from.  Let us continue to look to the hills from which cometh our help.  Father you are a good God and there is none on heaven or in earth like you.  Let us continue to strive to be the people you'd have us to be.  A body well pleasing to to you and doing every work you'd  have us to do. 

I thank you father for you are worthy to be praised.  I thank you father for your constant protection and provision. I thank you for never leaving us alone and for the understanding that there is no battle we ever have to think of fighting alone. I thank you for your word.

A prayer of David.

 ¹ Hear, O LORD, and answer me, for I am poor and needy.

 ² Guard my life, for I am devoted to you.  You are my God; save your servant
       who trusts in you. 

 ³ Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I call to you all day long.

 ⁴ Bring joy to your servant, for to you, O Lord, I lift up my soul.

 ⁵ You are forgiving and good, O Lord, abounding in love to all who call to you.

 ⁶ Hear my prayer, O LORD; listen to my cry for mercy.

 ⁷ In the day of my trouble I will call to you, for you will answer me.

 ⁸ Among the gods there is none like you, O Lord; no deeds can compare with yours.

 ⁹ All the nations you have made,will come and worship before you, O Lord;
       they will bring glory to your name.

 ¹⁰ For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God.

 ¹¹ Teach me your way, O LORD,  and I will walk in your truth;  give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.

 ¹² I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my heart;  I will glorify your name forever.

 ¹⁴ The arrogant are attacking me, O God;  a band of ruthless men seeks my life—  men without regard for you.

 ¹⁵ But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God,  slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.

 ¹⁶ Turn to me and have mercy on me; grant your strength to your servant
       and save the son of your maidservant. 

 ¹⁷ Give me a sign of your goodness, that my enemies may see it and be put to shame,  for you, O LORD, have helped me and comforted me.
