Peace (1)

In you dear Father peace resides.  Lord we look to you to fill us with your peace.  A peace that passes all understanding and earthly knowledge. A peace that calms us in the midst of the whirlwind that surrounds us and tries to take our focus off of you. Father we thank you for being a very present help in times of trouble and Lord we also thank you for your presence in times of happiness and joy.  Lord we thank you for being true to your word and for never leaving or forsaking us.   Father we thank you for life and for your constant guidance.  Lord you are not the author of confusion therefore we ask you to help us strip away the things in our lives that are not of you so that we can see and hear you clearly.  Father we want to walk the path you'd have us to take and regardless of our circumstances we want to live in your presence surrounded by your peace.  In Jesus name I pray.  Amen.
